This will be Covcon’s second year, and boy what a line-up they have! All the action is taking place this Saturday 15th September from 10 to 5, so hopefully everyone should have plenty of time to get their fix.

Personally, out of all the guests listed, I’m really looking forward to seeing Kim Newman. I first came across him when he wrote his monthly ‘Kim Newman’s Video Dungeon’ segment in Empire magazine, which was always my favourite bit. All guest information can be found on the Covcon website.

Covcon also includes a Cosplay Zone, Gaming Zone, an Interactive Zone (no details on the website yet unfortunately!) as well as the Collectors Assemble Comics Zone. While these zones might not be to everyone’s tastes, I’ll definitely be checking out the Gaming Zone as well as all the comic content – who can honestly resist a bit of retro arcade fun?

See you there!
