The 8th-10th August sees the return of the MancsterCon Independent Sequential Art Convention. After a successful three day event last year filled with screenings, talks and workshops, cosplay catwalks and a host of local comic artists, the convention is back at the Manchester Digital Laboratory on Edge Street for another weekend of comics, manga, animation and much more.  There will be a range of events from crafty workshops and cosplay competitions, to discussions in comic studies and animation screenings.
