Meanwhile…Worthing Comic Con is back again on Saturday 11th August 2018 at Worthing Assembly Hall, in (you guessed it!) Worthing. The event runs from 9-5, and there is a great selection of ticket types depending on whether you’re rocking up as a solo superhero, or bringing your team with you.

For those of you who are new to this Con, it’s run by Blue Fox Comics, who are an independent comics publisher based in Walberton. It looks as though they’ve had a really busy 2018, so here’s hoping that 2019 is the same for them! They recently had a Kickstarter campaign for a dragon colouring book, which I’m really happy to say was successful. It contains 52 images, created by 52 different artists, to give you a dragon a week for an entire year.

And now, back to the Con…

I’m really excited to be going to see some of the guests listed on the site – as a huge fan of the Tank Girl series, it’s great to see both Alan Martin and Warwick Johnson-Cadwell on the guestlist – I wonder how impressed they’ll be with any Tank Girl cosplayers out there? I’ve got my fingers crossed for a Tank Girl and Booga duo!

If that wasn’t enough, there is going to be a live recording of an episode of PodCapers, the official A Place To Hang your Cape podcast. If you haven’t checked out their site or podcast before, now is the perfect time to brush up on your knowledge before meeting Scott Meridew and David Molofsky!

Let us know in the comments if you are planning on attending, cosplaying, or heckling Scott and David, and share your thoughts with us on the other side!
